After leaving her career in law, Julie Holmes, CO-CEO of Virginia Tire & Auto, actively encourages women to persue careers in the automotive industry. “There are so many opportunities for women in this industry,” said Holmes. “The automotive industry provides such great opportunities for women,” said Holmes. “We want to continue to encourage women to consider this industry as a career.”
The opportunities at Virginia Tire & Auto are abundant, from working the shops as a Technician, to a role behind the scenes in our corporate office; women have played a significant role including, General Service, Technician, COO/CPO, leading our Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources and Warehouse departments.
