If your car is pumping out warm air:
If your car’s A/C is producing warm air, we’ll ask you to come into one of our 15 Virginia Tire & Auto locations across Virginia for an evac and recharge. An expert mechanic will use a special machine to take the existing Freon out of your air conditioner and then refill the correct amount. We’ll also add a UV-reactive dye—this allows us to see if there are any leaks in what should be a closed AC system.
If there aren’t any leaks, a certified technician will refill the refrigerant and your car A/C repair will be complete.
If your car is producing no air at all:
If your car’s A/C is producing no air at all, there could be an issue with your blower motor, resistor, compressor or another mechanical or electrical component of your air conditioning system. A service professional will ask you to bring your car in for a full diagnostic check so our certified mechanics can make the right car A/C repair for you.
