"Automobiles are certainly not my forte. Being a female with an automobile who doesn’t understand all of the pieces of an automobile and how they work together to run properly also has its disadvantages. I have been to many places locally between Haymarket and Gainesville (not mentioning places, I don’t like being that person) and finally found a place that works for me. Virginia Tire & Auto just opened a Haymarket location and I went the day they opened with a problem my car and not only did they repair what I went for they also were able to diagnose and fix something that I had brought it to numerous shops for and was told each time it was fixed.
The Manager was completely transparent throughout the process and clearly explained the process and each step along the way. They had my vehicle for a few days because they had to take part many sections to try to find out what was going on. They even brought in a “smoker” to get to the root cause of one of the issues. Having someone call you with each step and explain where they were with the process was greatly appreciated.
Mind you putting money into a vehicle is very costly regardless of what you are going in for, but to finally have someone diagnose a problem that someone else said they fixed (and you paid for the “fixes”) was a relief.
What I have learned throughout my years of being behind the wheel is vehicles are expensive and in order to continue to have a safe vehicle to drive with your loved ones in it makes a difference (well at least to me). I will use every coupon I can to try to ease the pain of the invoice, but with Tom and the transparency of the deals I know I am getting the most for my money. Everyone needs to remember to read the fine print (coupons can’t be combined, etc). Nothing in life is free.

Store Manager
With over 35 years of experience in the Automotive Industry, Thomas Linnehan brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the field. He began his career in 1980 as an Automotive Technician and later ran his own successful Automotive repair business. Growing up in Northern Virginia, he developed a strong passion for the industry, leading him to hold various leadership roles, including Automotive Technician, Service Advisor, Service Manager and Service Director. With a solid business management background, Thomas has continuously driven success and innovation in every position he has held. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his two grandchildren.
