Virginia Tire & Auto, the Fairfax-based full-service provider of automotive maintenance services, announces extensive growth in 2019. With stores in Vienna and Richmond already opened this year and two additional locations in Tysons and Herndon scheduled for 2019, these four locations will bring the total to 17 stores.
In addition to the store openings, the company recently hired its first Chief Financial Officer, Kevin Whitton, who will deliver leadership, direction and management of company finances, providing strategic recommendations to the executive management team and advising on long-term business and financial planning.Whitton is a 15-year veteran of multi-unit retail finance and was most recently the CFO at Cambridge Finance Holdings, a large Burger King franchisee based out of Memphis, TN.

Fairfax-based Virginia Tire & Auto has hired its first CFO.
Kevin Whitton has been tapped for the role. He was most recently CFO at Cambridge Finance Holdings, a large Burger King franchisee based out of Memphis, Tennessee. Virginia Tire & Auto provides automotive maintenance services.
The company opened a store in Chesterfield, its first outside of Northern Virginia, in January 2019. It also opened a facility in Vienna in late March. Construction is underway at the store in Herndon, slated to open this fall, and the Tysons location, scheduled to open by the end of the year….
The car repair shop is set to open in the former Merchant’s Tire and Auto Centers at 2055 Chain Bridge Road, across the street from Tysons’ infamous Toilet Bowl building.
Noelle Malley, a spokesperson for the chain, said the Tysons location is expected to open in fall 2019 and will provide 20 new jobs….
