Celebrating Employee Dedication, Innovation, and Growth: Our 2017-2018 Awards Breakfast in Review

At Virginia Tire & Auto, our business is our people. That’s why we celebrate our employees for their achievements in hospitality, development, growth, general service, spirit and teamwork each year.

This year, we celebrated at the Marriott Westfield on February 9th. Between the table talk, delicious food and abundance of kind words being exchanged among our employees, we saw the true culture of Virginia Tire & Auto shine through.

Virginia Tire & Auto is proud of each and every one of our employees for their dedication to their work and our customers.

“Trust, integrity, professionalism—these values are not aspirational. These are at the core of who we are and have been for 40 years,” says Julie Holmes, President of Virginia Tire & Auto. “The Awards Breakfast honors individuals who exemplify these values every day.”

The award recipients were chosen based on nominations from their peers. Interested in hearing a few of the peer comments we received?

“Dan will always go the extra mile. Even on our busiest days, Dan takes the time to put in small details and work with the sudden emergencies we have day-to-day.”

“Joe is always respectful and courteous with customers and fellow employees, and has shown remarkable growth since he joined.”

“I wish I had eight more Dhimitris.”
